Like you, I’ve always loved skincare. Not just for the results, but for the self-care and sense of reset and connection with myself. That little moment in my day that is just mine. But chasing every new product and trendy ingredient eventually caught up with me. My skin barrier weakened, I developed dermatitis, and suddenly the rituals I loved left me feeling irritated and frustrated.
In searching for a better way, I looked to the ocean for inspiration, which has always been calming and grounding for me. I discovered marine biotechnology, where nutrient-rich algae from oceans around the world are refined to be more effective and compatible with skin. Combined with gentle, clean, hydration-focused formulation, this was the answer I was looking for: skincare that nurtures, strengthens, and supports long-term skin resilience while offering the luxury of a sensorial ritual.
This is how Mi’Ora was born. A multi-benefit skincare line designed to protect and replenish the skin barrier, while giving you back that grounding moment of pause. It’s simple, restorative, and a treat for both your skin and senses.

Mi’Ora comes from the Spanish “mi hora”, meaning “my hour.” Through this name, we want to inspire you to take your time and truly be present.
I came up with the name while swimming and floating in the ocean. Life is busy, and I’m often operating at full speed. The ocean has always been my happy place. After a particularly overwhelming day, I went for a swim. The water was perfectly calm. Floating there, I felt like life was put on pause. This was my time. My hour. Mi hora.
That feeling is what Mi’Ora embodies. A pause for self-care, a reset, a moment to reconnect with yourself. Whether you take a full hour or just a few minutes, Mi’Ora is your time, and yours alone.
